APNT & Navigation Components
Resilient Navigation Solutions for GNSS-Challenged Environments
Assured Positioning, Navigation and Timing (APNT) enables platforms to maintain accurate, continuous and trusted navigation when conventional GNSS signals are degraded, obstructed, jammed, spoofed or completely unavailable. Defense, aerospace, autonomous and mission-critical systems therefore require resilient navigation architectures that combine protected GNSS reception, interference detection and mitigation, inertial navigation and reliable navigation aiding data.
General Guidance provides advanced APNT solutions, anti-jamming and anti-spoofing technologies, high-precision GNSS receivers and specialized navigation components from JAVAD GNSS and Inertial Labs, a VIAVI Solutions company. These complementary technologies help improve the availability, integrity and continuity of positioning, navigation and timing data across aerial, ground, maritime, railway and space applications.
JAVAD GNSS offers compact, multi-frequency and multi-constellation OEM receivers, integrated GNSS/IMU solutions and specialized OEM antennas for demanding navigation and positioning applications. The portfolio includes the TR, TRE and TRH product families, supporting precise positioning, GNSS heading, attitude determination, signal-integrity monitoring and integration into aerial, autonomous, industrial and space-based platforms.
The Inertial Labs APNT portfolio includes TwoSents, an Anti-Jamming and Anti-Spoofing Electronics Module, and the M-AJ-QUATRO PRIME Anti-Jamming Advanced Antenna System. M-AJ-QUATRO PRIME uses Controlled Radiation Pattern Antenna (CRPA) technology and advanced signal processing to suppress interference and support reliable multi-band, multi-constellation GNSS reception in contested electromagnetic environments.
The portfolio also includes the Inertial Labs Air Data Computer (ADC), which provides essential air data parameters, including pressure altitude, airspeed, air density and outside air temperature. Its compact and lightweight design supports integration into fixed-wing aircraft, VTOL platforms and UAV navigation and flight-control systems.
These APNT technologies and navigation components can be deployed individually or integrated into wider navigation architectures combining GNSS receivers, Inertial Navigation Systems, autopilots, mission computers and external sensors.
General Guidance helps customers select and integrate the appropriate APNT, anti-jamming, anti-spoofing and navigation support technologies for their platform and operational requirements.
