Inertial Sensors
MEMS Accelerometers and Gyroscopes for Precision Navigation and Stabilization
General Guidance supplies advanced MEMS inertial sensors from Inertial Labs, a VIAVI Solutions company, for precision motion measurement, navigation, guidance, stabilization and control. The portfolio includes navigation-grade TAA three-axis accelerometers and tactical-grade TAG two- and three-axis gyroscopes for aerospace, defense, marine, industrial and autonomous platforms.
The compact, self-contained TAA-308, TAA-315 and TAA-340 accelerometers draw on more than 20 years of Inertial Labs expertise in inertial sensor calibration. Their advanced design, factory calibration and temperature compensation enable precise linear acceleration measurements with low noise and excellent repeatability in both static and dynamic applications. Measurement ranges of ±8 g, ±15 g and ±40 g support UAVs, autonomous vehicles, antenna-pointing systems, motion reference units, INS and AHRS.
The TAG-207 two-axis gyroscope and TAG-307 and TAG-304 three-axis gyroscopes provide accurate angular-rate measurements with low noise and low latency. They support electro-optical systems, gimbals, line-of-sight pointing and platform stabilization. When integrated into INS, AHRS and sensor-fusion architectures, these inertial sensors can contribute to reliable operation in GNSS-contested and GPS-denied environments.

TAA-308
Navigation-grade three-axis MEMS accelerometer with a ±8 g measurement range. Factory calibration, temperature compensation, low noise and 0.005 mg bias in-run stability support precise linear acceleration measurement for INS, AHRS, antenna pointing, motion reference units, UAV navigation and other static or dynamic applications.

TAA-315
Navigation-grade three-axis MEMS accelerometer with a ±15 g measurement range. It combines factory calibration, temperature compensation, low noise and high repeatability with a 4,000 Hz data rate, supporting autonomous vehicles, guidance systems, platform stabilization, UAVs, AUV/ROVs and applications requiring wider dynamic capability.

TAA-340
Navigation-grade three-axis MEMS accelerometer offering the widest ±40 g measurement range in the TAA series. Its compact, temperature-compensated design, 4,000 Hz data rate and low-latency output support high-dynamic guidance, UAV and AUV control, vehicle motion measurement, stabilization and embedded inertial navigation applications.

TAG-207
Tactical-grade two-axis MEMS gyroscope with a ±450°/s measurement range, 1,000 Hz bandwidth and 4,000 Hz data rate. Factory calibration, low noise, low latency and an IP67 enclosure support accurate stabilization and pointing for electro-optical systems, gimbals, pan-and-tilt platforms and land-vehicle applications.

TAG-307
Tactical-grade three-axis MEMS gyroscope providing ±450°/s angular-rate measurement across all three axes. With low noise, low bias drift, 1,000 Hz bandwidth and 4,000 Hz data output, it supports guidance, navigation, EO/IR systems, gimbals, line-of-sight pointing and precision platform stabilization.

TAG-304
Compact tactical-grade three-axis MEMS gyroscope with a wide ±2,000°/s angular-rate range and 4,000 Hz data rate. Its low-power, low-latency and temperature-calibrated design supports high-dynamic guidance, EO/IR systems, gimbals, line-of-sight platforms, pan-and-tilt mechanisms and embedded stabilization applications.
