Railway Motion Control
The Railway Motion Control Unit (RMCU) is a high-performance strapdown system specifically developed for railway applications to determine absolute orientation (Heading, Pitch, and Roll) and motion parameters (Angular Rates and Linear Accelerations) for any railway platform. Our RMCU utilizes three 3-axis precision MEMS accelerometers, miniature Fluxgate magnetometers, and MEMS gyroscopes to provide accurate heading, pitch, and roll measurements with high accuracy for both static and dynamic applications. The system integrates gyroscope output for high-frequency, real-time measurement of device rotation about all three axes, while accelerometers and Fluxgate magnetometers measure absolute pitch, roll, and heading/azimuth with ongoing corrections during operation. Our RMCU complies with EN 45545, EN 50155, and EN 50011 railway safety and performance standards.
