The Codan Virtual Control Point (VCP) application enables operation of your Codan HF SDR transceiver with the convenience of a PC or tablet style device.
Using either a wired or Wi-Fi connection, VCP seamlessly integrates your device and a Codan SDR HF radio, allowing full radio functionality at locations remote or local to the radio.
The VCP replicates physical control point functionality, allows simultaneous control across multiple devices or control of multiple transceivers from one device, and presents the opportunity to expand control of your communication network further than ever before.
VCP puts control where you need it, by centralising radio network control for improved situational awareness and providing enhanced ease of use by operating from familiar devices.

Remote access
Configurable IP and RFU alias enabling your remote site to be operated over a network.
Multiple control points
Connect up to 4 control points to one transceiver over multiple devices (physical or virtual) or connect multiple transceivers to a single PC/Tablet.
Auto Connect
VCP will automatically connect to an RFU on an in range Wired/Wi-Fi network if there is only one connected transceiver, ensuring that getting on-line is easy.
Inbuilt Audio
All audio is routed through the connected device including incoming call notifications.
Access Control
If the connected Codan radio has a User PIN set, then VCP will also require the PIN in order to use the app.
Simple upgrade
VCP does not require any transceiver hardware changes and the required sales option can be software enabled in the field.
Full Radio Control
VCP allows for full transceiver control from a desktop environment whilst working in conjunction with other installed Codan applications.
