General Guidance will attend GSOF Symposium Europe 2026 in Rome from 6–8 October alongside our technology partner Inertial Labs, a VIAVI Solutions company. Meet our team with Inertial Labs at Booth 4 to discuss resilient navigation for special operations, unmanned systems and other demanding defense applications.
We will also be available to discuss tactical communication systems from the DTC portfolio. Navigation and communications meet different operational needs: a platform needs a trustworthy estimate of its position and motion, while teams need dependable links to share voice, video and mission data.
Resilient Navigation with Inertial Labs
Our conversations at GSOF will cover Inertial Labs navigation systems, including INS and IMU technologies, assured positioning, navigation and timing (APNT), and approaches to navigation when GNSS is degraded, jammed, spoofed or unavailable.
The right configuration depends on the platform and mission: how long it must operate without trusted GNSS, what navigation performance it needs during that interval, and which other sensors or aiding sources remain available.
Tactical Communications from the DTC Portfolio
General Guidance will discuss DTC IP mesh and tactical radio solutions for dismounted teams, vehicles, infrastructure and unmanned platforms. Depending on the selected radio and system configuration, these networks can carry IP data, video and voice between connected nodes, including across multi-hop links.
The portfolio addresses different size, power and integration requirements. DTC’s compact BluSDR family is designed for unmanned platforms; the SDR-H2 provides a handheld tactical mesh option; NETNode RM supports mobile and infrastructure roles; and Mission Commander provides tools for configuring and monitoring mesh networks.
At GSOF, we welcome discussions about the details that determine the right system: platform integration, network layout, coverage, bandwidth, video and data requirements, and the operating environment.
Meet Us in Rome
GSOF Symposium Europe brings together the special operations community, government and industry to discuss operational needs and the technologies that support them. We look forward to meeting partners, customers and integrators to explore both resilient navigation and tactical communications requirements.
